Alphabet
Bravalic uses an abjad which is written from right to left. The script has changed a lot throughout the years, developing from a unified mode of Bravalia, into separate mode of each city. In official and traditional scripts, the vowels are noted as diacritics above the consonants they succeed, however in non-official scripts, the vowels were left out.
After the fall of Bravalia, many of the ancient texts remained in the library of T’yrosh or in private collections, however the use of the Ancient Mode has long been obsolete. The use of the diacritical mark for vowels are mainly for decorative purposes.
There are four forms of each letter (few exceptions) that need to be learnt to be able to write the script. The standalone version is called the isolate; some letters remain as isolate throughout the entire word and do not have other positions. The initial is for letters that begin a word which usually move straight to a medial letter. Medial letter come within a word without break in between letters. The Final position is sometimes written at the end of the part of the word where an isolate-only letter comes.

Diacritics
Vowels (when included) are written above or below the letter they succeed. Long vowels are noted with a line below the line. If a letter is initial and a vowel comes before, the preceding vowel is written above and the succeeding below, however when medial, this means that both vowels come after:
