A Grammar of Eldich: A Comprehensive Grammar of High Eldich and its daughterAfter his first book "On Glossopoetics", David Tait is offering a first comprehensive look into one of his longest projects: the Eldich Languages. Starting as a simple code when he was just eleven, Eldich has now expanded into a rich, beautiful product of artistic design. Packed with detailed grammatical and phonological features, the full language has been meticulously laid out in this Grammar of Eldich, including a complete description of the functioning of the language."Eldich has been the ultimate test of my linguistic and glossopoetic theories of aesthetics and spiritualism. It has been one of my longest-running projects and has followed me along my journey in developing my linguistic knowledge; it has been my closest companion."

On Glossopoetics: A Collection of Essays on Language As Art
On Glossopoetics is a collection of essays based around the philosophy and spirituality of language making - or glossopoeia. It deals with a number of issues from aesthetics, the true language of language and even artistic movements within the craft. What is the significance of glossopoeia? How does one do it? And how might the community refine the art? All these are questions the author tries to answer, also introducing some new ideas such as glossopoeic philology and creating languages as allegory. The essays try to take a look at these ideas with humour and seriousness, and, of course, a little romanticism.David Tait is a British-born glossopoeist based in Madrid and the creator of various languages, including Hopyratian, Eldich, Fairish among others. He has been creating languages since the age of eleven after being inspired by Esperanto, Tolkien and David J. Peterson. He is interested in the role aesthetics play in changing and shaping language.
