Essays
Here are a collection of essays which I dedicated to the subjects of Linguistics, Glossopoeia and Glossopoetics. Many of these essays I have published in my first book, On Glossopoetics, however I have presented them here so they can be freely accessible to read and download as PDFs.
Glossopoetic Theory
Glossopoeia & The Glossopoeists
Here I discuss the philosophical and spiritual underpinnings of language construction and how it pertains to us as glossopoeists. I evaluate the qualitative differences between artistic and international auxiliary languages and conclude with emphasising the importance of constructing a “glossopoeic philology”.

Neo-Tolkienianism & Aesthetics
Here I summarise the main ideas behind a new artistic movement in glossopoeia based on Tolkien’s more aesthetical approach towards language construction. I talk about the vitality of aesthetics for our craft and why we should pay special attention to the word-form.

Linguistics
On the Nature of Language
In this essay, I try and describe my entire philosophy towards both language and languages as a whole. I attempt to express what language actually is in defining the individual and what they mean in regards to society, opposing the general view of languages as media of communicative and proposing a more creative motive for their existence. Finally, I unpack the fixed connection between nationality and a language.

Mia Esperantismo
